At Paws Pet Resort our philosophy is to provide a home like environment for your 4 legged family member.  My name is Karen Joyner, owner and small business entrepreneur of Paws Pet Resort.  Growing up on a small family owned farm in Smithfield Virginia it has always been my passion to care and love all type of animals.  After years of working in the thoroughbred horse industry in New York, New Jersey and Virginia, along with a 5 year stint as a GM for a major restaurant chain I decided to move back to Virginia and return to the things I loved.  Working with a local veterinarian renewed my passion for dogs and the idea of opening Paws.  I would love to introduce you to Paws, stop by and take a tour!!  Let's talk dogs
